We are currently seeking a Skilled Chef to join our team at Turquoise Hillarys. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented chef who is looking for long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with Turquoise Café's standards.
• Develop and present menu items that reflect our commitment to quality and innovation.
• Supervise kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage food inventory and costs, minimizing waste and maintaining profitability.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
• Mentor and train junior kitchen staff, fostering their professional development.
• Adapt to feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen
• Formal culinary qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
